Access for everyone

Accessibility

We want this website — and every other way you interact with us — to be usable by anyone, on any device, regardless of ability.

Our commitment

Accessibility isn't a checkbox for us — it's the whole point. We work to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across our website, communications, and printed materials. When we fall short, we want to know about it and fix it quickly.

What we've built in

Keyboard navigation

Every interactive element can be reached and used with the Tab and Enter keys. Focus indicators are visible.

Screen reader friendly

Semantic HTML, descriptive headings, and meaningful link text — so JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack all work well.

Colour & contrast

Text and interactive elements meet WCAG AA contrast thresholds. We don't rely on colour alone to convey meaning.

Reduced motion

If your device requests reduced motion, our animations and transitions are turned off automatically.

Scalable text

Zoom up to 200% without losing functionality. Layouts reflow cleanly on every screen size, including mobile.

Image alt text

Informative images carry alt text. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.

Alternative formats

If anything on this site, or in any document we send you, isn't accessible to you — please ask. At no cost, we can provide:

  • Easy Read versions of important documents
  • Large print or high-contrast versions
  • Audio recordings of policies, plans, or invoices
  • Plain language rewrites of complex information
  • Translated materials in your preferred language
  • Auslan or other interpreting for meetings

Communication preferences

Tell us how you'd like us to communicate with you and we'll work to it. That might mean SMS instead of email, longer scheduled phone calls, sending materials in advance, having a support person on every call, or anything else that helps. There's no wrong answer.

Found something hard to use?Email admin@optimaloptions.com.au or call +61 416 779 677 and we'll fix it. We aim to respond to accessibility issues within two business days.

Independent standards we look to

This page is a living document

Accessibility never stops being a work in progress. If something is in the way of you getting what you need, please tell us — we'd rather hear it than not.
